Guys, the people of standing rock are being shot with water cannons in below freezing, maced, and shot with rubber bullets. The police have become increasingly violent and the protestors have remained peaceful.
For those that don't know, the DAPL is a FRACKED oil pipeline that would partially run under land that legally belongs to the Great Sioux Reservation NOT the United States and would contaminate the water of the Mississippi River which provides fresh water for 8 million residents.
Alongside the abuse of power and violence, climate science research tells us we should be focusing on keeping these fuels in the ground, not out. This is destroying people's lives and the planet.

Now more than ever we need all eyes on this issue. The US have abused these people, they are trying to take land that is not theirs, violently.
The water protectors are in urgent need of winter camping supplies, food, and medical professionals.
