One of the interesting behaviors of the animals in Galápagos is they show no fear, allowing for amazing photo opportunities. A close encounter with a curious Galápagos giant tortoise took this experience to another level when a friendly tortoise chose to hang out in the shade with folks relaxing in the hammocks in the highlands of Santa Cruz Island. The encounter lasted more than an hour!
