He's at that age where he will soon be kicked out of this pride to go it alone as a nomad. Life is particularly difficult for young males and he will have many challenges ahead of him. But his mother managed to raise all 6 of her cubs to this age, so perhaps with these strong genes, he will do well on his own and one day lead a pride of his own.
