​@veronikaheilbrunner’s London to-do list... “I live in Berlin, which is such a cool, young city – but I love London because it’s so beautiful: the houses are so amazing, and everything is made up so prettily. Plus, there’s this really historic feeling everywhere: you can walk the streets and imagine how they looked 500 years ago. It’s a great city for my imagination and I walk everywhere just to look around: through Mayfair, around Hyde Park. I’d walk around all day if I didn’t have to work in between, just going into museums or popping into Harry’s Bar for a drink. 180 Strand, where we shot some of these pictures, is very different to that because it’s such a modern building – but it’s so exciting what’s happening there, they’re turning it into this new space for creatives. Plus, I love what @eagletta and her husband are doing with @thestoresdotcom, we have The Store in Berlin, and I think it’s genius. I suppose the other thing that I like about London is the clash of the old and the new, and I always quite like things that feel almost out of context. The city is so beautiful and has so much history, but there are spaces like these that bring something so exciting to the area.”
