This 1778 woodblock print from our @freersackler is by Japanese artist Isoda Koryūsai, who produced around 150 designs of flowers, birds and animals in his life.
1778 was the Year of the Dog, and calendar prints like this one were given as gifts at the start of the lunar new year.
