awoke to my favorite type of morning - still and calm, quieted by the fat flakes of snow slowly drifting on windless air from sky to earth and the palest most delicate light enshrining it all - silvery white, and glowing - not mercurial as the light of autumn, but steadfast and unwavering - that dichotomous balance of strength and frailty making it even more lovely and the way it washes over everything feels like a small cause for celebration - so this lovely dress from @kamperett seemed only too appropriate - with thick wooly socks and boots and layers of jumpers and scarves and jackets (momentarily shed for the sake of the image) - I'm favoring skits and dresses this winter as they take so well to layering - a vintage skirt of my mothers and this dress in black are on constant rotation with the thickest of knits and cashmere cables -
