Have you ever noticed that when you start the real process of cleaning, organizing or decluttering, you first have to make a bigger mess in order to clear out the debris? That is my home process at the moment -- the home I live in and the home within me. I am enjoying the slow and steady process, really taking my time with it this go around the bend. To create space for a mindful moment before letting go of what I no longer wish to keep in my atmosphere and to also sit and smile with relics that stay with me on the journey ahead. Some older ones are my mother's watercolor brushes and art supplies (my favorite of them all) and the beautiful hand fan that she painted so exquisitely. I've also added some new keepsakes to the repertoire like the wonderful YStudio brassing pen from @koheziamsterdam and these handmade watercolors that are nearly impossible to snag (and I can see why because they are incredible) from @greenleafblue. One of my goals for the year ahead is to make more room for family and those closest to my heart and to also make room for creating new things.
