Keeping a positive mindset isn't always easy nor does it always feel authentic especially in the midst of challenges, unkindness and negativity. Sometimes being positive is a gritty choice if the heart is healing or bruised but I have found that it is always the rewarding one. Always. It adds instead of subtracts. It sows peace where there is none. It softens hearts. It brightens. And encourages hope. I have found that the presence of kindred spirits along the way helps reinforce the positives too. Where would we be without them? So in light of that, I wanted to give a special shout-out to one of these beautiful souls and my fellow sister in all things creative, @jessicaseacrest. She has supported me from my earlier doodle days when I hardly had anyone tracking with me here and has been a light, blessing and support as I have evolved in my journey. And if you haven't already seen her truly inspiring and ethereal artwork, I highly recommend checking out her feed. Seriously. Also she is the @doodlewashed Art Supply Blogger (link in her @jessicaseacrest profile) and gives super helpful and honest reviews on several art supplies like watercolors, other paint mediums, brushes, stationery and more. And last but not least, I received the most wonderfully amazing package from her in a stationery exchange that we did in which she sent me her own clay art (!!!) -- the stunning ceramic dish which I am in love with -- and the super rare bone leather TIG Mod Tablet 2 Mini. Yes, I geeked, squealed, fist pumped and Carlton danced all over my room. On repeat. And still. Thank you so much for spoiling me with this lovely lavish care package but most of all with your friendship, kindness and heart, Jessica! ?
