Photo @lucianocandisani (Luciano Candisani). // A caiman underwater, Pantanal wetlands of Brazil. It is an unpublished picture of my story “the comeback croc”for National Geographic. Caimans are medium sized crocs very abundant in the Pantanal wetlands. When they are concentrated on fishing, like this one in the picture, it is possible to carefully get close if really know the animal behaviour. To do this coverage I had an caiman expert with me in the water.
