"We were lucky to get this photo during a nice Whistler sunset. The snow conditions were extremely variable. While it all looked good and soft everywhere, it was very deceiving. The shaded area on the right side of this photo was boilerplate. The wind hammered most areas and features, but every so often we would be able to find a nice isolated area, like the one in this photo, where the snow stacked up nicely.
