It's been 10 days since Jazzy crossed the bridge. It feels like it's been much longer. I saw a grief therapist a few days ago. The session didn't help much but I had an insightful moment on the way home. I thought about how I loved Jazzy like there was no tomorrow. And now I have this huge hole in my heart, it makes it difficult to appreciate what's around me. Then I thought about the ones who are still physically here, who still need me -- especially those that are patiently waiting for me to be full again. I don't want to miss our precious time...because I don't know how much of that I have with them either. I still cry every day and my chest hurts but I have moments where I can feel at peace. #HowDidIGetSoLucky
