I believe I met a friend for life in Farhad Faez, a thirteen year old orphan from Afghanistan. We shared our contact information and promised to stay connected. In English, a language he's mastered in only ten months, he described his journey in harrowing detail. My wife encouraged him to think about writing his story. Later in the day he told me he loved this idea and said he was going to do it. I asked him after a long conversation if he would be all right sharing his story on Facebook Live- which I had never done and was a little nervous about- but Farhad took to it like a duck to water. I encourage you to look at it. And, as you will see, he's a natural. We meet all kinds of people on our journeys. I'll eat my hat if this man isn't one of the greatest contributors to whatever country is lucky enough to receive and welcome him and his family into their arms.
