My heart is breaking every single day when I see so many kitties whose lives are being taken and who are being maimed and harmed from this inhumane, cruel, and very unnecessary procedure.?
Chloe's life was taken unnecessarily because another pro-declaw vet wanted the money from her declaw instead of successfully educating this cat owner on the simple fact that they could just trim Chloe's nails or use soft paws. This vet could have counseled this cat owner on how harmful and unnecessary it is to the health and well being of Chloe to have her toe bones and claws barbarically amputated. Then this cat owner would have NEVER considered taking Chloe in for this mutilating procedure. The cat owner had Chloe declawed because their other cat was declawed & they wanted to protect her. ? She went into cardiac arrest after her amputations.
Please don't let Chloe's death go in vain. PLEASE sign my petitions (and one from the Paw Project) to help end this horrific procedure.
