PR! Hitting 335 lbs for 8 reps ???Proudest moment of my weekend lol?

The hip thrust is my favourite movement to target my glutes. It puts little tension on my quads, which tend to be easily receptive to lower body training. Also, it never ceases to give a ridiculous pump. Notice my chin tuck and forward gaze, which ensures my chest is down. I thrust with a slight pelvic tilt, squeezing my glutes at the top of movement. I use a hip pad from @ironbullstrength to keep my hip bones free of bruises and pain lol?

These are fun in various weight and rep ranges. You don’t need to go heavy to feel a pump. Simply doing froggy pumps on the floor get my glutes firing? (special thanks to @bretcontreras1 for making these feel normal at the gym ?). I currently have two hip thrust sessions of various volume schemes in my training program and have been loving the results ?
