Always a pleasure to surf against @mfanno. A lot of people got to see Mick's deeper character come out after the shark incident at JBay two years ago. Mick's a true champion on the professional level and personally he's one of the most straightforward guys you'd ever hope to know. I hope we have a few more battles before all's said and done...but no more in the first round! Maybe a couple of finals instead?! Although having the first ever heat together (w/ @lfioravanti) at #NorthPoint was pretty cool even if the waves weren't quite what we'd hoped for. Photo @peterkingphoto
