・ (日本語↓) ・ Since my dear friend Izumi has passed away a week ago it's been hard to accept what this is. All we can do is to know that now she's returned to be an angel as she always has. ・ Her whole being was just gracefully beautiful in every level. She was the most generous and strongly gentle person I ever met in my life. ・ She hosted my solo exhibition "Memento Mori" at her gallery / the oldest survived building in Tokyo 3 years ago as the 3rd anniversary of Japan's earthquake and Tsunami. My Cherry Blossom piece "Sakura" is about Nirvana. Over this painting, we shared many conversations about Life and Death - Nature's Life Cycle and we connected deeply with our souls. ・ I drew one cherry blossom petal with thinking of her. I realized it does look like a cat.
