The final #PrinceAndTheRevolution Lp entitled #Parade was released March 31st 1986. This is probably the album that has the most creative influence on me. The rim shot/neo soul drumming on the title track pretty much is a blueprint to #Voodoo. His fandom of #RufusAndChakaKhan's #AskRufus is on full display w his use of #ClareFischer's lush arrangements. & his basswork (or lack thereof (see "Kiss") is on crazy levels. Happy 31st!
