@christieswatches will be offering the unique Patek Philippe reference 2497, formerly the property of His Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia.

This watch features an 18k gold case with a military-style black luminous dial, and luminous alpha hands.
Christie's previously offered this watch in November 2015, but the lot was withdrawn at the last minute. This was due to an ownership dispute that ended in a favorable court decision giving the original consigner every right to sell the watch. We are looking forward to offering this watch at auction on May 15!
