法然上人（ほうねんしょうにん）をお祀りする法然院(ほうねんいん)には谷崎潤一郎・河上肇(はじめ)など著名な学者・文人の墓がたくさんあり、境内からは名水「善気水(ぜんきすい)」が湧き出しています。白砂壇(びゃくさだん)という砂でできた庭があり、浮き上がった模様がとても芸術的です。

Hōnen-in is a Buddhist temple which worships ‘Honen-shounin’. This temple is located near Ginkakuji-Temple, Kyoto, Japan. Japanese celebrities, like "Junichiro Tanizaki", "Hajime Kawakami" loved this temple, and there is theirs final resting place. In temple, there is a beautiful garden made of white sand called ‘byakusadan’. The pattern made of sand is very artistic. And also there bubbles famous water, "Zen-Ki-sui"
