Public lands are some of the last harbors of truly dark skies, so landing an internship at Washington’s #MountRainier #NationalPark was a dream for Matt Dieterich, who has spent 10 years hunting down dark night skies away from city lights. While @mountrainiernps, he created created this amazing image of star trails and the Northern Lights over Mount Rainier.
