Every once in awhile I take a photo that is like a bookmark for me to remember a feeling or a moment. This was one of those. While I was in Paris last month a friend of mine (@odddc) told me I had to look up his friend (@james_on_pluto) while I was in town to see a different side to Paris. .
Always up for a new experience that's what I did. I Started out at an expat underground open mic/slam poetry/speakeasy led by a man in a yellow bathrobe and a black top hat...This was the moment I knew I made the right choice. We navigated the streets after hours as they showed me their favourite street art and the steps where Edith Piaf was born all while meeting loads of new friends along the way. It's the generosity of people like James and is wife to show "their view" of where they live that keeps me inspired to travel. And I hope will also inspires one or two of you to get out of your comfort zone take a chance and do the same. So this was that moment I felt I needed to bookmark with a shot in the mirror at an unnamed bar in Paris
