Native to the African savannah they grow up to 35 meters and may be several thousand years old. For centuries, the people of Africa have turned to the baobab tree as a source of natural wellbeing and health. They are a legacy of the dense tropical forests that once thrived in these areas. As the forests are cut to make way for farming, fewer of these beautiful giants remain. @natgeocreative #africa
