For today’s #MuseumInstaSwap, we’re giving you a peek inside @DrawingCenter. Their ongoing exhibition "Exploratory Works: Drawings from the Department of Tropical Research Field Expeditions" features 60+ drawings by a team of mostly female artists who worked in collaboration with famed naturalist William Beebe and a group of scientists on expeditions to South America and the Caribbean in the early 1900s. Also on view are archival images and two installations by Mark Dion that recreate the researchers’ field stations. Check out our story for a closer look at the exhibition. #ExploratoryWorks
