Ladies (im so nervous) I want you to meet someone. Please welcome our newest family member, Junior Pearce. ? If you have followed me for a while, you'll know how much this post means to me. This is such a hard thing to write. As I am writing this, I can't stop the tears from rolling down my cheeks. If you didn't know already, Tobi and I unexpectedly lost our baby boy husky, TJ at the start of this year. Everyone knows he meant the world to us, especially me. After it happened, I knew I would never find another dog like him. I cried and cried for weeks, and I didn't know when I would get better. I had never lost a family member or pet before in my life. It was my first loss and I was, and still am, so damn heart broken. I put on a brave face for you ladies because I didn't want to let you down, but was hurting, a lot. After this happened with TJ, I wasn't even considering another dog. One day I randomly stumbled along this little man, Junior.....and he literally stopped me in my tracks. He almost looked identical. He was totally covered in mud, head to paw. For the first time in a long time, I smiled. I bent down to pat him, and he put his right paw up on me for a handshake, just like TJ used to. I picked him up and he got scared and weed himself...just like TJ did the first time I met him. I cried and hugged him so tight. I couldn't leave without him. TJ was so beautiful, happy and the most loved dog in the world. Junior is different but he is also so similar in many ways. I really feel like TJ is looking out for me up there, that's for sure. ??? I know this sounds silly for people who arn't dog lovers - but I literally LOVE my dogs, like they are my own children. I can't tell you how much of a beautiful light Junior is. Ace loves him, Tobi loves him, the family loves him and I hope you do too.
