Wow man. This is mind blowing rare footage. "Water" from #Phrenology" was not only a hard song to execute (deals w confronting a loved one about addictions, but also the hell that it is dealing with those addictions)--but just to make a 10 min song the nightmare of my dreams was such a mind blowing process. After the #Voodoo album I knew @russelevado could make anything magic in the audio world. He IS our #EddieKramer. I told him I want to make the most painful song one ever has to listen to about addiction. This was in 2001 WAY before the plug-in magic that is now (click a button and boom!!") this took maybe 3 weeks to record and mix in total. Phones were just starting to record footage and Russ captured the 6 min mark or the automation process.
