Many of you have seen this appalling photo of a New York vet declawing a cat. 80% of vets in America declaw cats. Around 5000 cats a DAY are declawed in America.?? I'm trying to figure out the mindset of a "doctor" of veterinary medicine who harms and mutilates cats by doing this inhumane and barbaric procedure to them. Many of these unethical declawing vets say they declaw cats to keep them in a home but we know that's bs. There are thousands of declawed cats in shelters that were thrown away because of the behavioral issues they have from their declaws.? 80% of those declawed cats are euthanized.?? So, when your inhumane vet says they declaw a cat to keep it in a home, remember those facts. If you have any ideas as to why veterinarians would perform a barbaric amputation surgery that mutilates a cat's paw and causes a lifetime of some sort of pain and suffering, please enlighten me. Also, how do these vets disconnect from the fact that they are torturing and causing great harm to a cat? Do they just not like cats that much? Is the money they make from declawing just too good to let go? Do these vets have a twisted dark heart and soul that allows them to switch off their compassion and perform this sadistic procedure without feeling any remorse or concern for the cats? The NYSVMS other vet associations are fighting to keep declawing legal in America. #sadists #greed #evil Any and all ideas are welcome. Also, this is one of the many vet practices that uses and recommends Purina 's Yesterday's News Cat litter. Purina makes millions of dollars a year from declawing vets like these.
