I love Yosemite! And I’m sure thousands of photographers & painters, hikers & rock climbers, and environmentalists share the same feeling. This striking landscape transformed the young Ansel Adams (early 20th century) to a legendary photographer. Here on a starry night of Yosemite National Park in California, from the bank of Merced river, the setting moon shines on El Capitan rock, with the Milky Way in Cassiopeia and Cygnus above it. You may even notice a diffuse “star” in the center which is the Andromeda Galaxy. The night looks so peaceful that you feel I was the only person in the entire valley. But that never happens! With 5 million tourists in 2016, Yosemite can hardly rest. While this is a successful ecotourism that created jobs and revenues which protect back the nature, I wonder what is the tourism capacity that comforts the wild life and environment of this World Heritage?
