Coiba is Central America’s largest uninhabited island and it sits just off the Pacific coast of Panama with many endemic species of animals and plants. It was a penal colony for almost 100 years until 10 years ago, so it is covered with lush rainforest. Together with my colleague @ChristianZiegler, @peter_houlihan and @pelletk documenting Coiba National Park to try to raise awareness of this important conservation area.
