A pleasure to receive a visit from Minister-President of Saxony Stanislaw Tillich today. He was transiting through Singapore enroute home.

A great many things have happened in the world since we last met a year ago. We spoke about the recent elections in Europe, and exchanged views on regional developments in our respective parts of the world.

I asked Mr Tillich about business developments in Saxony. Germany is an important trading partner of ours and we are keen to strengthen our economic ties. Looking forward to visiting Germany again for the G20 Summit later this year. – LHL (MCI Photo by Chwee)
