It is believed that the relationship between the Inuit people and their dogs goes back at least 4,000 years and it is generally understood that without the help of their dogs, human habitation in the vast northern latitudes would not have been possible. Much is owed to working dogs in every continent, but here, in Greenland, they remain an important part of the economy and the culture. Oh and notice the black dog in the back. He cracks me up!!
