Agreed. This is not a economic issue, it's a moral one. I would happily pay more taxes if it meant that every American got free healthcare. The fact that so many millionaires (no, I do not belong to this group) and billionaires can't get on board with this is absolutely baffling to me. You can slice it any way that you want but if you don't believe in free healthcare, you believe that people deserve to die, be untreated, and/or be destitute from paying their medical bills because they do not have the financial means.
