On May 22, 1902, President Theodore Roosevelt signed a bill into law establishing #CraterLake #NationalPark in #Oregon, and protecting one of the greatest scenic wonders in the United States. Surrounded by tall, rugged cliffs, Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the U.S. at 1,943 feet, and it is fed entirely by rain and snow, giving it a stunning blue color.
