Konstantin Yuon's winter landscape of Izmailovo will be unveiled to the public for the first time in #Moscow tomorrow. It was gifted by the soviet government to the British Conservative politician Rab Bulter, most likely during Khruschev's state visit in 1956. Barely two months after the first secretary's 'secret speech', which marked the beginning of the process of de-Stalinisation, the Soviet delegation visited Britain for eight days. Our Moscow exhibition is open at the Ivanovsky Hall, Russian State Library tomorrow. #RussianArt #SothebysRussia
