Ahead of our Master Paintings sale on 8 June in New York, we’ve teamed up with cutting edge street art gallery, @fatfreeart. Together we invited a group internationally-renowned street artists to reimagine 15th -17th century works from the sale in their own mediums, for a unique exhibition titled ‘Street Masters’ (June 2-14). Here Italian-born street artist @tomaso_albertini uses color and cardboard cutouts to add a three-dimensional sculptural element to his ‘Soul of a Boy’, an interpretation of Agnolotti di Domenico Del Mazziere's ‘Portrait of a Boy’ from the 15th century.
