Kohei Nawa's #sculptures have made him one of the most acclaimed young #artists in #Japan. #Deer ? are a reoccurring subject matter in the artist's PixCell series – in which he modifies animal #taxidermy – perhaps based on the #Shinto belief that they are messengers to the Gods.
