Today’s #VolunteersWeek post is by Daniela who volunteers for Tate Exchange at #TateModern. “Tate Exchange is such an interesting and exciting concept that I wanted to be a part of.
I have always loved the atmosphere at Tate, and felt cosy in the space. I am a student, and art is one of my biggest passions in life. I love having conversations and exchanges with people from all over the world.” Daniela’s favourite collection at Tate Modern is Artist and Society. “Many of the artworks on display in this wing are still so relevant, and they can be read in today’s current context.” Taryn Simon’s artwork “U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Contraband Room John F. Kennedy International Airport Queens, New York 2007” is one of the artworks that can be found in the Artist and Society collection.
