??????????When animals, like ring-tailed lemurs, are referred to as "frugivores" that means they eat primarily fruit. But what we call a “frugivore” is more like a “veggie-vore.” In the wild, the nutrients in foods that these animals eat more closely resemble nutrients in our root vegetables instead of fruits cultivated for human tastes. That’s why frugivores at the Zoo can often be seen chowing down on veggies. #ZooFoodie #WeSaveSpecies
