The way Daphne connects fashion, music and poetry is so graceful that she inspires to see new forms of femininity. The first time we met was for this SPLASH project back in 2013, which was like a horizontal skydive. A week of surrealism, impulsivity and freedom. I had no idea what the outcome would be and that's the best feeling. Daphne her freedom of expression is so powerful and personal, her inside is her outside, and that makes her a work of art. I wish there were more Daphne's on this planet.” Daphne: "Our work 'crystallization' shot by Nick Knight in 2013, is held dear in my memory. The collaborative process was innovative, but the product seemed improbable. The final piece was simply astonishing, and a privilege to wear. Iris caught the essence of an element that is near impossible to control. When it was finished, I stood inside a burst of water that was somehow also a dress. It was a unique, impossible thing of beauty: a fleeting moment, suspended forever in time. Iris is part dream catcher, part artist. Her work is miraculous.
