@themartinhouse was one of Wright's earliest works, built between 1905-07. The reception room is a perfect example of the architect's organic architecture principles that are found in the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed furniture and light fixtures. His consideration for light can be seen as it streams through the Martin House signature "Tree of Life" windows, reflecting off of the gold dusted ceiling and gilded mortar between the roman bricks of the 'sunburst fireplace.'
