A few weeks ago we got a fun phone call! @legitsadierob was cast in a @hallmarkchannel movie #sunsandandromance 2 1/2 weeks at a resort in Mexico! Yes, please ?we couldn't let her go alone ?@rebeccalorobertson went first, my mom @chryshoward went next and then I came to hang with her this last week! When she wasn't filming we hung out by the pool and drank out of coconuts ?rode bikes ?swam laps ?? and worked out to dance videos on YouTube at midnight ?I'm probably overstating the working out ?We ate our weight in guacamole ? and explored @xcaretpark and @xensespark (so fun!) We watched sunsets, rain and rainbows ☀️??read good books, and I bought a hat I'll probably never wear at home?we talked about life and laughed, a lot ? we watched every funny movie on tv and tried to learn Spanish from the subtitles. It's been so so good! This post is not just about all the fun we had though! This is also to say how awesome all the people are who took my place in all of the things I was supposed to be doing these past 8 days. The good news is life at home went on and nothing fell apart! Shocking I know, mamas, the world will not come to an end if we go off and have fun for a bit ?? Our kids have an awesome Dad who made sure everything still ran smoothly, went to all the basketball games and called me after each one with a full report ?We have incredible kids that are secure and confident and know who they are and Whose they are!??❤️I answered emails and kept up with work on the porch of our hotel room ? I have amazing parents who always step up to the plate to help wherever needed, and a lot of people in my life who help me get things done ??Like driving 3 hours both ways to pick up kids, teaching crafts at camp, rescheduling meetings, and changing flights, taking care of our home and so so much more...I couldn't do it without all of you! I don't take it for granted; absolutely none of it goes unnoticed! You are awesome and I am thankful for you each and every day! I'm also thankful for FaceTime so I could see my hubby and the rest of my kiddos faces while I was gone. I've missed them!!!! #homewardbound ??✈️???
