Happy birthday to #AnnHamilton, known for her mesmerizing, large-scale installations. In 2009, Hamilton created "human carriage" (2009), specifically for the museum's rotunda. Several times a day, a "reader" standing on the highest ramp attached a bundle of books to a wheeled carriage adorned with a pair of Tibetan temple cymbals which spun down the ramps on a spiraling track to the bottom. #Guggenheim #WomenMW
