Today at Buckingham Palace The Queen hosted audiences with two new foreign Ambassadors who presented their 'Letters of Credence'.
Her Majesty received both Mr Mr Genaro Vicente Pappalardo Ayala, Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mr Said Tayeb Jawad.
Soon after arriving in London, a foreign Ambassador has an audience with The Queen, where they present Her Majesty with his or hers Letters of Credence – an instrument that a Head of State uses to appoint Ambassadors.
