Many photographs tumble upon the editing floor. Today was filled with such moments, including this gentle movement in a cave where we waited for hours until someone arrived to pray. The need of giving to the narrative far outweighing the giving to myself, where less becomes more. Tomorrow is the final presentation of part VI of the @outofedenwalk at @ナショナルジオグラフィック. I will be presenting a final show of 52 images from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan at National Geographic to the editor and chief of the magazine, Susan Goldberg.
