Photo @lucianocandisani (Luciano Candisani). Lemurs are endemic of Madagascar. They form a diverse group of more than 100 species and unfortunately according to IUCN they are also the most threatened mammal group on the planet. Deforestation is the main reason for that, but hunting and climate changes also play an important role. The picture shows the famous ring tailed lemur. I did it two weeks ago while on assignment in the east portion of Madagascar.
