Meet the Exoflex Hand Therapy and Assessment Device, winner of the 2017 MAAS Design Award and now on display at the #PowerhouseMuseum.

Designed by Design + Industry and commissioned by BES Rehab Ltd, the Exoflex is a portable rehabilitation device that assists in the return of movement to paralysed or damaged hands. The device remembers the patient and records important measurements related to their fingers and their usage patterns.

Since 1992 we have recognised excellence in Australian design with the MAAS Design Award, presented in association with @gooddesignaus. It is given to a project that demonstrates the important role of #design in improving the quality of #health, wellbeing or the #environment.
