Presence and Absense [sic] of Light–Eclipse —from Sarah Charlesworth's 1980-81 notebook.
Light, as seen through natural phenomenon including the mysteries of the night sky, emerged at this time as a thematic focus and became one of her long-standing interests. Charlesworth wrote in her notebook, "Light is my medium".
