Today I give my 12th presentation on matcha, proudly was invited by @adidas HQ to speak. I've been lecturing on the Japanese ceremonial green tea powder since 2012, as a proud advisor at @matchalove & Ito En, my Japanese family.
For my family and I, it is an honor and a legacy to carry. My Grandmother and my Great Auntie studied matcha until the tea master they worked with, passed ???, dedicated to the integrity of tea. And as I continue to share the roots and heritage behind this delish tea, I hope to show you how to make it traditionally & in some lattes, yum drinks + smoothies, ice cream, crepes and even crusted over fish and soba noodles. With dashi, as a marinade, dressing or even a beauty mask ?????????. Remember how powerful your roots are, don't let anyone take that from you. Be proud and embrace your differences. Embrace your heritage and share it with the world. Frederick Douglas once said, "He without knowledge of the past, is like a tree without roots. " think about that.
