#Mongrels is OUT NOW! This post goes out to every musician that played on the record. @thebrandonbush who not only co-produced but also played all of the keys and more, your ear is unrivalled, @shanksforeverything who played all of the lead guitar parts, sometimes dropping in for impromptu sessions when Tom and I were mixing and felt like we needed a little extra pizzazz, the arpeggiated lick spontaneously thrown down on I Just Want You transformed the song from silver to gold, @ktothespence & @indianapolis_jones who shared bass duties on the record, bringing their own individuality to every track, are probably two of the most amiable dudes I've ever met, @kentaberle & @questionmarkcobb who shared drum duties and provided a solid backbone to these tunes, @jenncello who I coincidentally met at the airport the day I realised I wasn't going to be able to fly in my cellist for the sessions, was literally a godsend & @rachelesong for having the voice of an angel and being the darling badass that she is. All of these artists stepped into the room with smiles on their faces and either genuinely loved the songs or were fantastic liars. I can't thank you all enough for your professionalism, your talents and for always being ready to jump in and jam. I don't know music lingo and can't read music so they often had to endure me shouting things at them like "make it more PURPLE!" I love working with musicians who aren't to afraid listen with their hearts and work from scratch. Mad love and respect to you all.
