I would like to extend an invite to all of you to the 38th year, @womenssportsfoundation Annual Salute to Women in Sports. I am a Board Member as well as on the Athlete Advisory Panel of this organization because it is a cause that I feel passionate about.
The #WSF is dedicated to creating leaders by ensuring all girls access to sports. The mission of the #Foundation is to advance the lives of women and girls through sports and physical activity. We were founded by Billie Jean King to bring equal play to sports. We promote healthy lifestyles and form initiatives to get girls active in underserved communities, as well as to give voices to female athletes.
This is our signature fundraising event, which highlights all those involved in the sports, media, business, women’s leadership and gender equity. The event is attended by more than 750 each year, celebrating women’s achievements in sport and featuring more than 70 accomplished #athletes, including a #RedCarpet and Grand March of Athletes. The #AnnualSalute draws industry leaders from every major sector, including #sports, media, #business, entertainment, finance, legal, #fashion.
