She won this Daytime Emmy® from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for her work as an “Outstanding Service Show Host” for the series "In Julia’s Kitchen with Master Chefs." This was the first of three cooking series filmed in Julia Child’s home kitchen in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It featured Julia hosting a different professional chef each week, with the chef demonstrating various techniques and dishes of contemporary American cooking. Her guests included Jody Adams, Rick Bayless, Daniel Boulud, Leah Chase, and other luminaries of the American culinary world.
